Communication plays a major role in our relationship.
Thank you for always finding time to call, email and text me despite your busy schedule.
Thank you for telling me your fondest experiences as well as your deepest feelings and emotions.
Thank you for showing me that you are someone who believes in me.
Thank you for listening to everything that I say --no matter how silly they are.
For the times when I need to work double time, thank you for waking me up from my deep sleep.
Thank you for always making me feel special.
I appreciate every little thing that you do --most especially those that can affect our relationship and our future together.
You've been a better man --not because of me--but because you know that you are capable of doing that.
I believe in you and when you say that "it is best for our us, for our relationship," I know it will be.
I know the best is yet to come.
I love you.

Father's Day Preparation
“Fatherhood is leadership, the most important kind of leadership. It has always been so; it always will be so. Father, with the assistance and counsel and encouragement of your eternal companion, you preside in the home. It is not a matter of whether you are most worthy or best qualified, but it is a matter of [divine] appointment.”
Fatherhood is a special calling that entails challenging responsibilities. I am not a father myself, yet I have seen the footprints and good examples of my dad. He showed our family that fathers are not perfect --yet they strive to be one.
Father's day is always special for me because this is the time wherein I could express my love and gratitude to my dad. When I was in primary I love singing (although I'm not really good at it) for this wonderful occasion. I appreciate every little thing that my dad did for me especially all his sacrifices and hard work. We may not have too much worldly possessions but I am still grateful that God gave me a father like my dad.
I do not need a perfect father, I need someone who understands and appreciates my abilities and talents; someone who forgives me for my shortcomings and weaknesses; someone who motivates me to do well not only in school but in my everyday activities; someone who values our family and is faithful to my mother and someone who is not afraid to admit his mistakes and tells his children to learn from the wrong did he made. I do not need a father who is rich with worldly possession but lacks faith and testimony in God.
I do not need any other father.
I am contented and happy with what God gave me and I am proud to be my daddy's daughter.
Father's day is near approaching and the primary organization of our ward had prepared a simple presentation in recognition for this special day. The Novaliches 1st ward primary will be singing the songs "Fathers" and "My Dad".
"Fathers"
The father of our home leads our family
With wisdom's light in all that's right, my father's good to me
**Fathers are so special with a very special love
They watch us and protect us
They guide us and direct us back to our home above
The father of our ward tends with loving care
Each member's needs with kindly deeds, our bishop's always there
(Repeat **)
And now we'll sing great praise and rev'rently recall
The Holy One who gave His son, The Father of us all
(Repeat **)
To listen to this song, go here.
"My Dad"
My daddy is my fav'rite pal, and I help him everyday.
It's plain to see I want to be like him in every way.
He teaches me that honesty is best in all I do.
I'm very glad that he's my day,
And I know he loves me too.
To listen to this song, go here.
The children will also give simple tokens to all the fathers in our ward as well as to our ward visitors (it is also our ward conference) who happens to be daddies already. We don't have extra budget on this though, so we decided to buy small keychains and wrote "happy father's day!" on one side and a characteristic of a good father on the other side. I think it looks good and I hope the daddies will like and appreciate them. I also took snapshots of all the daddies in our ward and created a simple AVP (audio-visual presentation) for them.
Positive vibes for father's day :-)

The Magic of Motherhood
Daughters remember their mothers’ most enduring gifts.
How do we remember the women whose touch helped shape us from the moment of our birth?
We may not always completely trust our own memories of our mothers—for time applies a rosy tint to parts of our past, smudges others in tones of gray, and obscures some altogether.
Still, certain moments we shared with our mothers stand out in vivid relief. Although the brightest of these memories are not usually of events we would now call significant, even the most commonplace can illuminate the influence of the unique women we call “Mother."
Almost every mother is acutely aware of her own shortcomings—times when she is too tired to read just one more story, times when her patience wears thin in the dailiness of motherly responsibilities. But for the child there is magic in the midst of the mundane—watching Mother dance around the kitchen, taking a buggy ride wrapped up in her arms, trying to knead the bread dough just as she does, sharing a prayer, hearing her word of praise or encouragement. Such precious memories can be every mother’s most enduring gift.
